Behavioral Science Champions 2
Our second cohort of Behavioral Science Champions represents a vibrant, multidisciplinary, and global learning community. Their dedication underscores the growing momentum behind using behavioral science to drive positive change across Africa—and beyond. Our alumni include public health professionals, development experts, communication specialists, researchers, medical doctors, program managers, and behavioral scientists. They work in government agencies, NGOs, multilateral organizations, universities, and private sector institutions, each bringing a unique lens to behavior change. Geographically, participants are based across multiple African countries—including Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo—as well as international hubs such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan. This diverse participation highlights ABSN’s global relevance and the universal demand for practical, evidence-based approaches to behavior change. Their commitment to learning, sharing, and applying behavioral insights within their work—and their communities—exemplifies the mission of the Africa Behavioral Science Network: to grow a connected, capable, and collaborative behavioral science ecosystem across the continent and globally.
