ENGAGEMENT CIRCLE FELLOWS
The Engagement Circle Fellows are a growing network of public health professionals, researchers, policymakers, and program managers across Africa who have participated in the one-session version of Behavioral Science Made Easy. By engaging with behavioral science principles, they are now equipped to apply evidence-based approaches to tackle key public health challenges, from vaccine uptake to social behavior change communication. As part of this dynamic community, Fellows will continue to receive support, resources, and opportunities to collaborate, ensuring that behavioral science becomes a core component of public health interventions across Africa. Together, we are shaping the future of behavioral science in Africa!
Engagement Circle Fellows 1
The Engagement Circle Fellows 1 cohort represents a diverse and dynamic group of professionals dedicated to advancing behavioral science in public health. This inaugural group includes a Senior Health Officer who oversees critical health programs, an Executive Director leading impactful organizations, and a Health Promotion Officer working to improve community well-being. Among them are State Technical Facilitator and Public Health Specialist who are shaping health policies and interventions, alongside a Nurse providing frontline care. Their expertise is complemented by an Environmentalist addressing health determinants, a Health Outreach Director expanding community engagement, and a Program Manager ensuring the effective implementation of public health initiatives. Additionally, the cohort includes a Team Lead guiding strategic health initiatives, a Pharmacist contributing to medication access and adherence, and a Compliance Personnel ensuring program accountability. A Research Scientist within the group brings an evidence-based approach, ensuring that public health interventions are informed by rigorous data and behavioral insights. Together, these professionals form a powerful network committed to integrating behavioral science into health interventions, strengthening public health systems, and driving positive change across Africa.

Engagement Circle Fellows 2
The Engagement Circle Fellows 2 cohort is a group of professionals, all hailing from Nigeria, bringing together a unique blend of expertise critical to advancing behavioral science in public health. This group includes a Health Journalist who plays a key role in shaping public narratives and promoting accurate health information, and a Microbiologist and MPh Candidate, whose scientific background bridges lab research with community health impact. Also among them is a Research and Development Analyst, contributing data-driven insights to inform health interventions, alongside a Logistics Lead ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of health services and programs. Rounding out the group is a Public Health Technical Project Manager, who combines strategic planning with on-the-ground coordination to implement impactful health projects. Together, these professionals represent a powerful cross-section of the health ecosystem—from communication and research to operations and leadership—poised to apply behavioral science to improve public health outcomes across Nigeria and Africa.
